Stud Poker Variants
The game is played usually by two to eight players. Before the cards are dealt each player places an initial bet. Then the dealer deals each player two face down cards and one face up.

Hand Ranking
There are variation to the game, and what is considered as the highest ranking hand, but here we’ll take as our starting point games like Seven-card Stud and Texas Hold’em, which are played with a 52 card deck, and there is no joker.
Texas Hold 'em Poker
Texas hold ’em (or simply hold ’em or holdem) is the most popular of the community card poker games. It is the most popular poker variant played in casinos in the western United States, and its no-limit form is used in the main event of the World Series of Poker, widely recognized as the world championship of the game.
Omaha Hi/Lo Poker Game
Omaha High/Low is played in exactly the same manner as a regular game of Omaha High. However, in Omaha High/Low, the pot is split 50-50 between the best high hand and the best qualifying low hand, consisting of 5 cards of different values ranked 8 or lower.
Omaha High Poker Game
Omaha High is like Texas Hold’em, with only two exceptions: Players are dealt 4 cards instead of 2 and players must use 2 out of their 4 cards NO MORE and NO LESS to form their hand.
7 Card Stud Poker Game
Play proceeds as follows (“player” refers only to those who have not folded and are still in the game), with betting rounds in-between.
